Never been to Goodlife before? We can’t wait to meet you. Here is what you need to know to make your first visit easy.
Goodlife Community Centre is set back off the road in a beautiful bush setting. The bulk of the parking is located at the rear of the building. Disabled parking is available at the front, side and rear of the building. Parking is free and there are no time limits.
Reception desk, cafe, gym and pools are located on the lower level. If you are entering from the rear carpark you will enter on the upper level of the building. There is both lift and stair access to the lower level.

Everyone is welcome at Goodlife, we love visitors and guests. You don’t need to be a member, and your first visit is free! When you arrive please check in at the reception desk near the front entrance to claim your free first visit pass.
If you are coming for a group fitness class it is best to arrive 15 minutes before start time to allow time to check in at reception and collect the correct class pass. Out of respect to participants there is no entry to classes after they start. Some classes are held in the function room upstairs, see the timetable for details on class location. If you wish to attend pilates or stretch class, bring a towel to cover the mats we provide.
If you are coming to the gym please bring a towel, wear enclosed shoes and bring your own water bottle. Please check in at reception before entering the gym. There is a cold water fountain located across from the squash courts at the rear of the gym.

As Christians we believe that God is the creator of life and that he delights in our discovery of his love for us and his purposes for us. We believe that his love and his design for life is revealed in Jesus Christ.
Goodlife Church offers a friendly, encouraging welcome to all visitors and guests. The first service is held in the stadium at 8.15am, we have coffee available at 9.30am in the foyer before the second service at 10.00am. Our final service begins at 5.00pm with tea and coffee available in the stadium. Little Angles, kids church and youth church are available at the 10.00am service. Creche is available at both the 10.00am and 5.00pm service.

We are passionate about our future generations, little people matter. We have four target age groups: Creche (up to 3yrs), Little Angels (toilet trained 3yrs to prep), kids church (grades 1 to 6) and youth church (grades 7 to 12) Your kids are going to have a chance to learn from the Bible, make friends and have some fun.
At Goodlife Kids Church we take child safety seriously. All of our volunteers are background checked and hold a blue card. Strict check-in and check-out policies are adhered to.
Child check-in policy: We encourage you to come a bit early and drop your children off. When you arrive, head to our new families desk in the upstairs foyer and a friendly volunteer will take some details to enrol your family in our digital check in system. Once enrolled you can use our iPads to check in and an I.D. sticker will be printed for both you and your child. You can pick your children up directly after service, using this same name-tag as an ID during check-out. If someone other than you will be picking up your child, please mention this at time of check-in.
Little ones going into creche will be checked in via paper system at the creche building. To enable us to provide the best care possible for your child please pack a bag, clearly labelled, with: hat, drink, bottle, snack, spare nappy, wipes, dummy and spare clothes.
We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your child’s first swimming class starts. This allows plenty of time to park, check in at reception, and do the all-important last minute toilet run in order to be poolside ready to start. We have a great little playground and jumping castle if you have extra time to spare.
If you have not already received your membership tag please see our friendly reception staff. It is important to swipe your membership tag before each class so that we know that you are here. It also allows us to track any classes that you miss. If you forget your tag, our reception staff are happy to check you in by name.
It is highly recommended that parents/carers in parent and child (wonder) classes wear a t-shirt in the pool. Children are taught to reach out independently and grab; wearing loose clothing makes this much easier. Children under the age of three are required to wear a swim nappy in the pool at all times. Goggles and cap are recommended for children three years and up, especially if your child has long hair. If you are unable to convince your child to wear a cap, please ensure all hair is tied up and clipped back away from their face. If your child is not toilet trained, please ensure they are wearing a swim nappy. You can purchase single swim nappies from reception if necessary.
On the day of your child’s lesson, they receive free entry to our outdoor pools. Check in is required at reception to receive a wrist band for entry. If you aren’t able to make a lesson please contact the swim school. We provide one make-up per term, and family swim passes for the outdoor facilities for subsequent cancelled lessons. When you arrive head to our reception desk and our friendly staff will take your payment and give you a wrist band so that staff are aware that you have paid. Public swimming is available in our outdoor pool accessed through the Cafe. See our pools page for details of opening hours and costs.
When you arrive for squash come straight to reception desk in the main foyer to sign in and make payment if necessary. There is a brief form that needs to be filled out on your first visit and we will do a quick shoe check to ensure your shoe soles are suitably non marking. If you are hiring racquets or need to purchase a ball these are available at reception. We have two squash courts so staff will advise you which court has been booked for you. If the lights are not on the switches are to the left of the courts, next to the gym.
If you are looking for a squash playing partner we would recommend that you join our squash facebook group and post a request. A link to the group is available on the squash page.
Evening time slots (after 4.00pm) are highly sought after and in short supply so we do request that these times are prepaid at time of booking. If you need to cancel please do so before 12.00pm on the day or payment is forfeited. Permanent weekly bookings are possible, please see our friendly reception staff to enquiry about availablility.
Our skate park is open to all and free to use, just come and sign in at reception. There is an indemnity form that must be filled in and signed by parents before your first visit, these are available from reception or can be downloaded from our skate page. We also require all skate park users to wear a helmet.
The Goodlife Cafe is located on the lower level of the building. We are open for breakfast and lunch each day. With dining areas inside and outside by the pool it is the perfect location regardless of the weather. As a medium to large size Cafe we welcome large groups as well and individuals. If you do wish to book for a table of six or more please call ahead and make a booking. We are also one of the coast's top child friendly cafe's offering both a kids menu, colouring in and, in fine weather, a jumping castle. Goodlife hosts a range of indoor sports including Basketball, Badminton and a Men's Futsal competition. Mens futsal on Thursday night is the only sport where you must register and join a team, all other sports are offered on a casual basis and you are welcome to come and join in. When you arrive, proceed to the main reception desk on the lower level to pay and sign in. On your first visit we will ask you to complete a player registration/indemnity form. Creche (monday to friday)
Goodlife Creche is available to all users of the centre whether you are heading to the gym or having a coffee in the Cafe. As an adjunct creche, the parent or caregiver must be on the Goodlife premises while children are in the creche. Bookings are essential. Our Goodlife Playgroup takes place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10.30am-12.30pm each week of the school term and we always have a wonderful morning! Playgroup is located in our air-conditioned Crèche building at the rear of the centre, see the above map.
Our aim is to provide an environment that is welcoming to all, where friendships and connections can be formed between both children and parents. We are well-equipped with a variety of indoor and outdoor activities available to your little one. A suggested donation of $3 per child helps to cover costs of a provided craft and morning tea. No bookings are necessary, just come along and enjoy! Parents are required to stay with their children. See our Kids page for further details
The ideal way for primary kids to finish the week and have a fun Friday! Boost is a free, weekly event during school term, for kids in grades one to six. It starts at 4.00pm in the upstairs function room and finishes with a sausage sizzle at 6.00pm. Kids must be signed in and out by a parent or guardian, and complete indemnity form on first visit. All Boost leaders hold a blue card.

Suitable for teens grade 7-12 our friday night youth sessions are filled with activity, games, groups, friends, laughter, and purpose filled conversation. All are welcome, and because the best things in life are free, it doesn’t cost you a thing. Goodlife Youth get together every Friday during school terms from 6.00pm-8.30pm here at the Goodlife Community Centre. Drop teens off at the upstairs function room, on your first visit parents will need to come in and fill out a registration form.

Functions - hosting an event
Please download our Venue Hire prices and application document which is available on our venue hire page for full details and costs associated with holding an event here at Goodlife. This document contains all necessary information regarding room dimensions, associated costs, catering options ect… If you wish to make an enquiry please fill out the email form at the bottom of the venue hire page. Including a brief synopsis of your business and or the purpose of your event in the event details section is helpful in allowing us to better understand your event requirements. We recommend corresponding with our events team via email firstname.lastname@example.org Once this form has been received we will be able to confirm availability and precise requirements associated with the booking.
On the day of your event please proceed to our main reception desk and we will direct you to your allocated seminar room.
Functions - attending an event
Our seminar rooms are located on the upper floor at the rear of the building. The best parking is found at the rear of the building and you will enter onto the correct level. Details of days events and their room location are on a sandwhich board in both the upstairs and downstairs foyers. Seminar rooms are to the right of the rear entrance, see the map above. All seminar rooms are numbered to assist you finding the correct location.
